Capó Lighting Design proudly collaborated with Envision Architects in 2017 to craft exceptional lighting design for Union College Center for Collaboration and Engagement in Schenectady, New York. This project featured a welcoming reception lobby, a spacious multipurpose conference room, and three intimate conference rooms. The lighting throughout circulation areas showcased minimalistic recessed downlights and washers, elegantly highlighting artwork while providing soft, indirect lighting for a ambiance.

The large conference room was bathed in a warm and inviting glow, to its thoughtfully designed lighting. A striking luminous ceiling creates a bright focal point, while perimeter coves and recessed accent lights add depth and ambiance, making the space perfect for meetings and presentations. This harmonious blend of lighting enhances both functionality and aesthetics, ensuring a professional atmosphere.

The small conference rooms feature a minimalistic lighting design, utilizing state-of-the-art recessed LED troffers. This setup ensures optimal illumination for video conferencing while effectively controlling glare for attendees. The clean design enhances the professional atmosphere, making it ideal for productive meetings.
